Our approach has always been simple: meet people where they are, listen carefully, and treat every customer the same way we would want to be treated ourselves. That philosophy has guided how we do business from the very beginning and continues to shape everything we do today.

Horton Hot Rod Parts opened in Breslau, Ontario in 1978. Not long after, Paul Barber hired a young Paul Horton to complete some frame work. Twenty-seven years later, Paul Barber approached Paul Horton about selling part of the business. A deal was made, the retail side moved to Milton, Ontario, and the chassis parts side remained in Breslau under what became the Welder Series line. Welder Series originally focused on DIY chassis kits for builders who wanted to weld them together themselves. Thanks to the quality, fit, and attention to detail the Horton name was known for, demand quickly grew for fully welded kits as well.

Another nineteen years later, Paul Barber and DW Horton reached an agreement that allowed Paul Barber to retire at 65 and for DW to bring the business back home to Breslau. Today, Welder Series has been fully integrated back into the Horton product line, alongside the major manufacturers and trusted suppliers you already know.
