1953–1956 Ford F-100 Truck Door Latches – Altman Easy Latch™

This Altman Easy Latch kit is a vehicle-specific, bolt-on bear jaw rotary claw door latch system designed for 1953–1956 Ford F-100 trucks. It replaces worn factory latches with a modern, secure design that allows the doors to open and close smoothly without slamming, while matching the quality of a properly restored or custom-built truck.

This is not a universal latch kit. Each latch and contoured jam plate is engineered specifically for the factory door structure to ensure proper alignment and reliable operation. The rotary claw latches are designed to work with the original exterior handles, interior handles, and exterior door lock cylinders. All latch components are zinc plated for corrosion resistance, and the internal latch claws are case hardened and zinc plated for long-term durability.

Each kit includes everything required to complete both doors, along with templates and detailed installation instructions. No welding is required.
