Black Stainless Flexible Engine Dipstick – Ford 302 5.0L, Midnight Series

Lokar’s XED‑5004 flexible engine dipstick is part of the Midnight Series and designed specifically for 1986–1995 Ford 5.0L (302ci) engines. It features a black stainless braided housing with an internal PTFE liner that resists kinks, heat, and abrasion — making it ideal for routing through tight engine bays and around headers. The slim, flexible profile allows the dipstick to be installed inside most block hugger and long-tube headers without interference. The inner dipstick rod is marked with molded-in, factory-style fluid level indicators for accurate and repeatable readings.

The handle is made from black anodized billet aluminum and seals into the block with a double O-ring design to prevent oil leakage under pressure. Its push-in mounting style makes installation quick and clean, without external brackets.
