Replacement distributor cap designed for V8 applications using HEI-style terminals. This cap fits popular MSD distributors for Chevy, Ford, and Chrysler applications and is also compatible with original GM points distributors.
Manufactured from high-strength Rynite material, the cap offers excellent dielectric properties and durability. Improved terminal design provides a secure locking connection for spark plug wires, helping prevent misfires and wire pull-out. An optional spark plug wire retainer is included to keep wires neatly secured under high-vibration or performance conditions.
When upgrading from a points socket–style distributor cap, new boots and terminals are required.
