Universal Small Block Ford Engine Mount Kit

This universal frame mount kit is designed to let you easily install a small block Ford engine (260, 289, 302, 5.0L, 351W, or 351C) into a wide range of classic vehicles—from compact T-Buckets to full-size F100 pickups. Offering both flexibility and strength, this kit provides a reliable, customizable solution for builders working on a wide variety of frames.

High Compatibility and Customization
These mounts are designed for stock 1963–72 Ford insulators (sold separately), so installation is straightforward and maintains the integrity of Ford’s original design. If you're sourcing your own insulators, just ensure the hole is located on the oil pan end of the ear for compatibility with this kit.

The unique hand-foldable design allows you to adjust the mount height precisely to your needs by folding along the laser-cut slits. This feature, combined with oversized, trim-to-fit gussets, lets you easily tailor the mounts to fit your frame height and achieve your preferred engine position. Whether your frame width is 22″ to 31″ between boxing plates, this single part number covers a wide range of chassis options, from compact builds to larger trucks.

Built Ford-Tough Engineering
These mounts are designed to support the engine weight on the frame mounts itself rather than relying on bolt shear strength. This engineering choice follows Ford's approach, enhancing both durability and safety by distributing weight evenly across the frame mounts.

Complete Installation Kit
The kit comes with all brackets and hardware needed to make one pair of motor mounts, providing everything required for a reliable, vibration-dampened setup.

The front sump on SB Ford oil pans will sometimes interfere with the Mustang II front crossmember. It may be necessary to do one or both of the following: 1) notch the Mustang II crossmember as required, or 2) use the pan from an '87-'94 Ford pick-up (#FITZ-6675-A). Be sure to get the correct oil pump pick-up tube. This pan is for motors with the dipstick in the block. Thanks to Dan Lecelle (Vern Hornby's nephew) for this tip.

Exceptional Value for Builders
This universal kit offers unbeatable value by covering multiple frame types and sizes with a single solution, eliminating the need for multiple part numbers or custom modifications. It’s a smart investment for anyone looking to mount a small block Ford engine into classic cars or trucks with confidence and stability.

Thanks for your business.

Every customer is different—and that’s exactly why they’re called customers. There’s no single formula that works for everyone. Some people want detailed descriptions, others prefer videos, and some need parts fabricated or welded to suit their project. Our approach has always been simple: meet people where they are, listen carefully, and treat every customer the same way we would want to be treated ourselves. That philosophy has guided how we do business from the very beginning and continues to shape everything we do today.
