High-torque gear reduction starter designed for performance street, hot rod, and custom applications where additional clearance and starting power are required. This compact starter is approximately 40 percent lighter and one-third smaller than most OE starters while producing up to 50 percent more torque thanks to its 3.75:1 gear reduction design.

The smaller housing provides increased clearance around headers, chassis components, and oil pans, making it ideal for tight engine bays and high-performance builds. Rated at 2.6 horsepower, this starter is suitable for high-compression and high-horsepower engines while maintaining reliable everyday drivability.

Manufactured using 100 percent new components and built in the USA, this starter is not remanufactured. The chrome finish offers a clean, high-end appearance. Mounting bolts and shims are included where applicable.
