Spring Rate Selection Guide (Approximate Front-End Weight)
• 1200 lbs = 275 lb spring
• 1300 lbs = 300 lb spring
• 1400 lbs = 325 lb spring
• 1500 lbs = 350 lb spring
• 1600 lbs = 375 lb spring
• 1700 lbs = 400 lb spring
• 1800 lbs = 425 lb spring

Installation & Setup Notes:
• All Mustang II springs offered are 13.5 inches long and must be trimmed to suit each individual application
• Spring rate increases as the spring is shortened
• When installing, the flat end of the spring installs into the upper spring hat
• The pigtail end installs into the lower control arm
• Rotate the spring during installation to properly seat the pigtail in the lower arm pocket
• Springs that are too long may not sit correctly in the lower control arm and can bow outward, potentially causing spring bind
• Ride height should be set so the lower control arms are level or slightly downward at the outer ends
• Springs will settle slightly during the first few hundred miles of driving
