Valve cover gaskets for traditional Pontiac V8 engines from 1963 through 1979, manufactured from Mr. Gasket’s premium Ultra-Seal cork/rubber blend. This high-density material provides excellent crush resistance and long-term durability, while a black latex outer coating helps the gasket conform to small flange irregularities and minimize the chance of oil seepage. When exposed to hot engine oil, the material swells slightly to create a uniform, positive seal. These .187-inch-thick gaskets are sold as a pair and are suitable for OE replacement, performance street builds, drag racing, and oval-track applications.
