Dropped tie rod ends designed for 1948–1964 Ford pickup trucks running a dropped front axle. When lowering these trucks, the factory tie rod sleeve can interfere with the front leaf springs. The 1-1/2 inch drop built into these tie rod ends relocates the tie rod downward, providing the clearance needed to prevent contact while maintaining proper steering geometry. Constructed from steel and designed for strength and reliability in traditional straight axle front suspension setups.
