Ford Transmission Sender Adapter

Transmission sender adapter designed to allow a GM-style pulse generator to be used on Ford transmissions equipped with a mechanical speedometer cable drive. This adapter makes it possible to convert a cable-drive output to an electronic speed signal for compatible electronic speedometers.

• Adapts GM pulse generator SN16 to Ford transmissions
• For Ford transmissions with mechanical (cable-driven) speedometer output
• Allows use of electronic speed signal with cable-drive transmission
• Requires driven gear for installation (not included)

Notes:
• Early Ford-O-Matic transmissions use a unique speedometer cable connection and require a special adapter
• Some Mopar transmissions do not have a speedometer cable output
• Mopar applications must have a cable-drive provision at the rear of the transmission to use a standard sending unit
• If no cable-drive output is present, an alternate speedometer sender solution is required
