The boxing plates do not start at the front crossmember. On an F1 pickup, the front of the boxing plate will be about 11” back from the large front shackle hole. The boxing plates will locate themselves to closely match the frame ’s upper and lower flanges. The stock engine mounts should be removed unless the stock flathead mounts will be used. The 665120 plates box from about 4” ahead of the front face of our Mustang II crossmember to about 18” back from the front face of our crossmember.
